About Me

My photo

Pragmatic, reserved and a deep thinker who loves family, sports especially football where am married to two wives: the first, AC Milan who has my loyalty and the second wife, Manchester United who has all my undying love and pampering, lifestyle and society parties. Need I say the law is more than a profession but a lifestyle for me.

SAY 'I DO.'

We all get to that point when we do not want entanglement with a plethora of partners but find that one person that deserves all our efforts, attention and loving. I know that like climbing the mount of Kilimanjaro, it is not an easy feat to achieve. However, the feeling of accomplishment one derives is not comparable either to the ecstasy of climaxing or joy of excelling in a competition. Another thing noticeable in this height is that one never plans for it; it is like going to the stream to fetch water and you end up with a basket of gold.

As a matter of certainty too, I know beauty never really counts although as men, we would notice your conspicuous calabash shaped like booty, which sends our thoughts on errands to the land of fantasies – forgive us, we are a being attracted to what we see, and your body perfectly moulded to figure eight is not exaggerated. True you might not be anything more than a chum might be but your sight is like that of the wonderful hills reflecting the sunrise. What counts is that we are at peace with you and have a strong inclination to make a home out of you. It is paramount that the only thing we look forward to is being in your company like the unsung housefly that flouts threats of having its life smashed.

I tell you woman of valour that truly, by their fruits, you shall know them. For you have charmed me by the smell of your perfume and like the hunters dog, I do not care about the consequences of not hearing the hunter’s whistle. Who would blame my nose for sniffing the fruit of love I smell on you? With your smile, you have captivated me and I bear the allegiance to abide by your spell, which has brought me to the garden of love. You stand out with your strong character; when I rage like the cow that has sighted the butcher’s knife, you pacify me with your calmness, and I begin to see how wise you are. I know my carnal desires are often inundating but you have me marvelled by how graceful you are.

Look people are going to tell you how much of a philanderer I was and lot more. Yes, I must have crossed the lines a few times and done some silly things even I am amused by right now. I agree I made myself a clown to the world and hung around a few wrong women but they defined for me whom to love. Baby, I was just a dog that went astray but thankfully, you found me and now I am a reborn. Indeed, I have found a good thing. A man with an infallible integrity ready to love with a renewed spirit if only you will say I do.

Yes if you say ‘I do’ then I can take you to New Zealand to avoid the hot temperate of Nigeria and if that is too cold, we will go to the moon to have our holy monogamy because it might rain in Nigeria too. I know Armstrong was the first man to go to the moon but we will be the first to marry on it. Where we have, our honeymoon will not matter because all I want is to wake up in your arms and sleep by you at night so that my life starts and ends with you being a blessing.

Trust me I know they say we change after marriage. However, I know your heart is as fragile as the strings of a guitar so I am going to stroke it gently and adjust its firmness. Our love will be new like the morning dews or the three seasons in one day of the obudu cattle ranch. I will dedicate my consciousness to never hurting you. Although have it at the back of your mind that there are no perfect ideal situations and am not striving for a utopian love system; there are going to be flaws and loads of complaints about me – I am a realist. I can only hope you love my imperfections effortlessly.

If quarrels do occur as they usually will, and you lose your temper, trust me that I will plant my kiss on your luscious lips until you are too tired to quarrel. Whenever, you flare up, I will hold you tight until you cannot resist me. Be assured, you will always be in my head despite my anger at you, which will not stay for too long. You will be in my thoughts when the miles separate us no matter how briefly; and when there are pains in my heart that bring me tears, I will see you through it.

I will see you as the light in my dark hours and the joy in the sad moments. When my mood swings like an unstable mind and I want to be alone, your love will reign supreme. Baby let me assure you that I am not perfect and like the palm tree, my ways might be meandering and I will falter countless times but you will feel my love, as I will be free with you.

I cannot assure all the days will be beautiful with me or smooth; look at the rose it has thorns. I only hope you will indulge me and stick through it all. All I want is just for you to be a part of my life. Never let us grow apart even at our lowest points or at those moments I act like a child.
