NELSON MANDELA UNABLE TO BREATH UNASSISTED

The ailing African leader who is a world icon Nelson Mandela lies critically sick still after nineteen days in hospital, in intensive care unit. It can be recalled that the revolutionary human right activist who was the first black president in South Africa was admitted to hospital on June 8, 2013 following a protracted illness.

According to sky news, Madiba lies sick with a deteriorating health in hospital bed after being unable to breath unassisted. According to Sky news, Nelson Mandela's tribal leaders have been told to prepare for the death of the former president, who remains in hospital on life support. This advice has come after series of meetings with them in the past two days. In the Eastern Cape, where Mr Mandela will be buried, a member of the tribal authority confirmed that the clan had been told that he is extremely ill and although it is against Xhosa tradition to even discuss the death of a living person, they should prepare for the worst.

Sky news have reported that there are a series of tribal rituals that will be observed by the family and the nation throughout this period and during  the funeral, although Mr Mandela, a Methodist, will be given a Christian burial.

The South African government has also been preparing the populace for this devastating news with the office of the president saying that we all must accept that Mandela indeed is old at Ninety Four (94). The hospital where the freedom fighter lays has paid host to guests from far and wide paying what might be their last respect to the legend who was imprisoned for an incredible twenty-seven years where he fought the oppressive white majority to deliver South African people from the shackles of apartheid.

Let us all remember the Nobel laurel winner #Nelson Mandela in our prayers and ask that God restores his failing health.
